Mission Statement

To ensure that CEBLO supports and helps all young people to realise their aspirations and potential in learning and employment and that business is fully engaged in the achievement of this aim.


Aims

  1. Raising standards of achievement.
  2. Improving pupil motivation and attendance.
  3. Supporting management in schools.
  4. Preparing young people for the world of work including employability.
  5. Enhancing delivery of the national curriculum.
  6. Delivery of Key Skills, including wider key skills such as creativity and enterprise.


Priorities

  1. Improve attainment of underachieving students.
  2. Support teaching and learning in literacy and numeracy.
  3. Develop student motivation in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and enterprise.
  4. Promote activity in schools and youth groups to ethnic minorities, including travellers.
  5. Promote activity in schools and youth groups in specific geographical areas across the County such as East, Central and Dogsthorpe areas of Peterborough, Arbury area of Cambridge, Wisbech and Oxmoor, Huntingdon.
  6. Work with Education Support for Looked After Children to increase involvement of young people in care in Work Related Learning activity.
  7. Work with Youth Offending teams to increase involvement of their client group in Work Related Learning activity.
  8. Work with both Local Education Authorities to provide complimentary activities.
  9. Work with secondary and SEN schools with low levels of intake standards and high levels of students entitled to free school meals.
